Court Safety Guidelines

We are getting some finishing touches on the new court projects. I'd like to thank Larry Kay and Keith Schell for all their work getting up court numbers, paddle holders, signage and a lot of other small things that make our courts look good. If you see Larry or Keith around give them a big thank you please.

Some general court safety issues should be noted.

-Minimize what is on the courts to reduce tripping hazards or damage to the court surface. No chairs, bags or bottles should be on the court. Try to keep bags up on the fence with a hook and no chairs are allowed on the courts. We have had broken bones and sprained ankles over the years from players falling on items that should not be on the ground inside the courts.

-There should be no more than 4 people inside of a court at any time. If players are waiting for the next game, they should be waiting outside the playing area. Extra players on a court is known as "court camping" and frowned upon by others who follow the displayed court rotation guidelines posted at the courts.

Thank you for being understanding and kind to your fellow pickleball enthusiasts.
